Scope & Content A mourning card created for the funeral of Charles Ellis, died December 1, 1898. There is a comforting passage at the top, carried in the bird's beak, and a poem at the bottom. "In Loving Remembrance of Charles Ellis" is at center.
The Ellis family, originally of Saguache, Colorado, is related to the Tomlin-Beck family of Red Cliff.
