Aperture card for filing in the Office of the County Clerk and Recorder of Eagle County, duly recorded. The film in the aperture is the map of Gore Creek homesteads created for the History of Eagle County (1940). The aperture card was stapled behind the original hand drawn map found at the end of the Gore Creek section of the original typescript (and in a map sleeve at the end of the photocopy version).
The map locates settlements, schools, ranger stations, sawmills, abandoned mines, roads, railroads and physical characteristics.
